The 17th edition of the International Dollhouse Miniature Show - SIMP Expo Paris 2022 was held this Sunday, June 19, 2022 in Paris. And I'm a little late to publish this post.
I continue this post on the visit of the show with the following exhibitors:
Our Italian friend Alexandra from Alemikimikri presented 2 scenes and miniature items in 1/12th and 1/24th scale. His creative world is based on articles and miniature accessories for painters and painters (brush, container, inkpot, workshop, easel, tube of paint, picture frame, etc...). With a concern for the small important detail that makes each object tend towards an extreme miniature reality. You will also find furniture, kitchen accessories and old vintage posters.
You can find its products and news on Facebook: Alemikimikri
The French exhibitor Le Coffre d'Emilie, is an artist passionate about bears and miniature characters on a 1/12th scale, her characters or figurines tell a story of the bear family. These bears are charming and awaken our child's soul.
You can find more characters and news from "Le Coffre d'Emilie" : here on Facebook
If you like desserts (like me) you will probably crack like me in front of Carole's stand - Le boudoir d'Alicia. You think you are entering a great Parisian pastry shop, all these miniature cakes, these cream wedding cakepieces and these decorations are mouth watering. In addition to being perfectly made and appetizing, these cakes are made with a certain touch of humour. I think you will have noticed this little rabbit trying to hide in the cake below?
The swan-shaped cake is also fun. The dessert platter is remarkably successful. I'm sure you can have your favorite cake in Carole's stand.

The world of the table and the pottery of the French artist Elisabeth Causeret will surprise more than one by the finesse of her creations in pottery, by the realistic sides of each piece that could be used in your kitchen and by a good taste. French-style.
Its miniature pottery elements are of course made on a 1/12th scale but also on a 1/24th and 1/48th scale.
The catalog of the different elements is sufficiently extensive so that everyone can find what they are looking for to create a miniature rustic kitchen scene with real stoneware pottery.
Or a scene with finer elements to equip a modern dollhouse room.
The artist does not have a website but you can follow the artist on Facebook : ici.
We find again this year the Dutch store De Pronkkamer, with a new collection of miniature bustiers and mannequins with a matching parasol and hat. You will find at home a very large collection of miniature cushions printed with refined patterns of different styles and variable sizes to associate with many interiors of model houses.
There are also very nice sets of Beatrix Potter miniature napkins.
You can follow news and new products from De Pronkkamer on their Internet website
If you like flowers, I think you'll like Pascale Garnier's stand. Pascale is passionate about miniature flowers and she has made her hobby her passion. She does everything herself for the realization of the kits for her flowers. You can find a very large number of different flowers on the stand. And the flowers produced are of very high quality.
You can contact Pascale via her email address: pascale-garnier@sfr.fr or find it at various trade fairs such as SIMP or Miniature in Combs-la-ville
We discover this year at the show a new artist Marina who, with Blue Mary Toys, presents her new creations from Ukraine.
Marina was passionate about teddy bears and one day she wanted to try making them. She spent a lot of time to acquire a technique of her own now.
She has her favorite materials that allow her to create unique figures. it's a bit more complicated now for her, because she left everything behind in Ukraine and she still can't find equivalent materials. She loves fairy tales and the world of magic. She draws her inspiration from it and she tries to give life to this world she imagines in a style of realistic fiction to bring her magical and fantastic toys to life.
You can find Marina's products on her Etsy shop: : Blue Mary toys
This year again, we will find the stand of our colleague and artist Joachim Kuehner at the show. Professor of painting and expert in ceramics, he has been manufacturing since 2011 on miniature items on a 1/12th scale.
He makes porcelain pieces and paintings, mainly in the historical style. For the most part, they are based on originals by well-known artists from centuries past.
I think if I don't tell you that these are thumbnails, these photos could have been taken in an art museum or a castle. There are many vases in Joachim's range, but also tea sets, unique plates of quality and detail. But also paintings and medallions of exceptional quality.
You can find Joachim's products via his website : Joachilm Kuehner
I know that already takes a lot of photos, so I split the post on my visit to the SIMP Expo Paris 2022 show into 2.
You can find the 1rst part of the show here
We did not exhibit at the Simp in 2022, but you can meet us there next year or come and see us at the Miniature and Scale Model show in Combs-la-ville (77 - France) on October 9th. Of course you can subscribe to receive some posts or follow our news and you will find our new dolls and furnitures here.
